I can't believe the price of a small soft serve vanilla cone! What a rip-off! $4.12! The same cone at the nearby McDonalds is $1.27!

This place is as good as an average Baskin Robbins. The difference is, that unlike some BR locations, they won't tell you to get out because you have blue hair, and threaten to arrest you when you ask for the 1-800 number so you can call corporate and complain. Oh, and as far as corporate go, I imagine they'd be nicer overall if you finally did manage to call them and tell them about what happened. The girls that work here (when I went, it was all young ladies working) are very friendly and very fast. Order was accurate. Store was clean. Outside seating available (not much, but it's still good)

Carvel Ice Cream in the Hunt Valley Mall is the absolute BEST place to go for ice cream and cakes! They have a great assortment of flavors and toppings, literally something for everyone. And anytime you need a cake for a birthday or party, this is the place to call! The owner, George, will hook you up. He can write on the cakes, decorate them, or even put photos on them. And the best thing about these cakes is the layer of chocolate crunchies! You know you love them! So go check it out and enjoy those crunchies!

Great customer service and a wonderful cake that really made my 3yr old's birthday special. Specifically, this was all due to an employee named "Corey" -spl? at the Hunt Valley location. She was so helpful with the order and did a such a wonderful job with our cake that I felt I had to write someone to credit her. I called Friday morning bc I made a disaster cake the night before for my son's birthday Saturday morning. So I had to order a last minute cake for his party. Normally it takes 24 hr advance to order a custom mint choc chip/ black raspberry cake. When I told Corey that our party was 9am the next day, she suggested that she will make it by that night. I didn't have my credit card on me at that moment at work, and I told her I would call her back with it in 15 m to give her my Credit card info. Of course, I got caught up in work, and SHE actually called me back 30m later to see if I was ready, bc to have it ready by that night, she was anxious to get it started!?! Now that's customer service. My son has a tree nut (but not peanut) allergy and she went through the ingredients on the label of the "crunchies" with me. At the end, when she asked me what I want written on the cake, whimsically I asked if she could draw a firetruck. My son is obsessed with firetrucks! To my surprise, she said, sure, she thinks she could do that. Corey did such a fantastic job with the cake and the firetruck drawing. My husband picked it up from the store and he was so impressed with the firetruck! That was just the icing on top of the wonderful service Corey provided overall. So thank you for having such an awesome employee. Corey really made my experience at the Hunt Valley Carvel exceptional, and really made my son's Birthday Cake a hit. I haven't encountered such a helpful sales person in a long time.

You can't beat Carvel's Junior cup of soft serve ice cream with unlimited sprinkles! Just enough sweetness, low fat & yummy goodness!
